Logs are processed, by our TimberKing sawmill, into flitches/gunstocks/billets where they are anchor sealed and stacked onto pallets in our 3,000 square foot air dry facility. We have plenty of options for your treasured firearm including Claro , English , Turkish , and American Walnut. All grades of Maple and much more.
When blanks are processed, dried and ready for carving, they are then pre-drilled/bored on our precision Grizzly Industrial lathe equipment. After pre-drilling/boring process is complete, they are milled/shaped on our precision multi spindle master carver.
Mostly our business is semi inlet wood replacement rifle stocks or gunstocks to stocking dealers and gunsmith's. Our unique process of taking it from log to gunstock, here at our facility, creates a huge savings and a better quality product to our customers.

These are two different M1 Garand sets I have recently purchased from Macon Gunstocks and installed. Entire project went very smoothly. Macon Gunstocks fit was much easier than the stocks I have purchased and installed from other stock makers. Fitting took about an hour and the lock up is tight. Finished product is a good solid fit and the grain and figure in the wood looks great. Nice product, great value for the buck. I finished with a few coats tung oil and sanded with 400 grit paper between coats. Ralph in California
